About Us
What we do
Majestic Grace foundation in Uganda typically centers on expanding access to quality education, improving community healthcare, and driving economic empowerment for vulnerable groups such as single mothers, orphans, widows, and youth.
Practice/Operational Areas
The following are the various areas in which we do engage:
Education and Mentorship
We do put emphasis on schooling to help communities escape long-term financial hardship. We do this through supporting education needs as we build schools, distribute supplies, and offer academic or vocational scholarships.
Healthcare and Sanitation
Improving public health is another core pillar, tackling issues like malnutrition, poor hygiene, and limited medical access.
Economic Empowerment and Livelihoods
To create long-lasting change, foundations help families and marginalized individuals build self-sustaining sources of income.
Basic and Social Support
Immediate relief is provided to individuals facing extreme poverty, homelessness, or abandonment.
Our Activities
Seeds of Hope
These are micro business grants. It takes a grant of $100-$500 to establish small businesses or fund a sewing center, or purchase pigs, goats, chickens, or rabbits.
Mama Kits
This is an outreach in the slums of Kampala and other areas Uganda. Pregnant women are not allowed to have their babies in the hospital (a safe environment) unless they bring a mama kit (all the supplies that the doctor needs to deliver the child). Starting at $7 per kit we were able through connections to find a supplier at $5 per kit.
School Fees
Most of the schools require parents to cover the school fees for their children. Many are not able to attend. We have found that $55per month covers most of the costs to care for a child including their primary education. There are currently over 250 children that we do our best to support. There are so many more reaching out to us.
Upcoming Programs
Organisation Land
We are mobilizing some funds primarily for the purpose of purchasing project land which is to secure a designated physical location needed to build, execute, or expand our organisation investments, facilities and generally infrastructure developments.
School construction
We are looking foward construction of a modern school facility that shall have the Kindargaten, Nursery Section, Primary School, Secondary School and a Vocational Skilling Centre so that we reduce of costs of hiring the premises that we are currently having.
